A CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
The 7th Annual Taste of Lebanon Festival offers a look into the rich culture and cuisine of Lebanon.
Lebanon's diverse population, composed of different ethnic and religious groups, has further contributed to the festivals, musical styles, literature, and cuisine of Lebanon. Despite the ethnic, linguistic, religious and denominational diversity of the Lebanese, they share an almost common culture. Lebanese Arabic is universally spoken while food, music, and literature are deep-rooted in wider Mediterranean and Levantine norms.

AUTHENTIC LEBANESE CUISINE
Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine features some of the healthiest and succulent meals. The cuisine of Lebanon epitomizes the best of the Mediterranean diet, which is esteemed for its health benefits. Abounding in a wealth of heart-healthy ingredients—including fresh vegetables, grains, herbs, and spices; poultry; lamb; yogurt; and olive oil—it yields meals replete with robust, earthy flavors. In fact, many dishes in the Lebanese cuisine can be traced back to thousands of years to Roman, and even Phoenician times.

OUR CHURCH

St. Sharbel is an Eastern Rite Catholic Church, located in Warren, Michigan. Our parish is built upon faith and love. Faith is a gift of God, and without it, there would be no life. We welcome you to join us in worship as we give thanks for the gift of faith.
St. Sharbel Church has been a "home away from home" for families that have immigrated from Lebanon and overseas, as well as home to those who love the Liturgy of the Maronite Rite.
